Masks & Immersion in Southern Benin

📅 Dates: Flexible.
👥 Participants : Maximum 10 people.

Between Vodun heritage , historic cities , and the masked traditions of southern Benin , this immersive experience invites you to discover a territory where spirituality , memory, and daily life remain intimately intertwined. From Grand-Popo to Porto-Novo, passing through Sè, Possotomè, Ouidah, and Abomey, the journey reveals the cultural richness of a region shaped by rituals, exchanges, and royal legacies.

Through encounters and ceremonies, this tour highlights various traditions linked to masks and local spiritual practices . The cities of Ouidah and Porto-Novo offer scenes of great visual and symbolic intensity , while the villages, markets, and lakeside landscapes of the South reveal another , more intimate and profoundly vibrant, perspective of Benin .

Designed for image creators and researchers , this program prioritizes an immersive approach based on respect for rituals, the quality of encounters, and an understanding of cultural contexts.
