Vodun Festival & northern ethnic groups

📅 Dates: January 7-16, 2027.
👥 Participants : Maximum 10 people.

During the Vodun Days, this tour invites you to discover these celebrations dedicated to traditional Beninese spiritualities before continuing on to the peoples and landscapes of the country’s north. Between public ceremonies , processions, sacred rhythms , and community gatherings , the expedition offers a vibrant exploration of Benin’s cultural heritage .

Beyond the event itself, this itinerary highlights the diversity of Benin’s peoples across the Taneka , Somba , Bariba , and Fulani territories , where social , architectural , and spiritual traditions remain deeply rooted. Each stage offers unique opportunities for documentary and photographic creation, in environments where gestures , materials , faces , and landscapes still tell stories of ways of life passed down through generations .

Designed with respect and listening in mind , this tour allows you to explore ceremonies and communities with the support of an experienced team , attentive to local cultural realities and the issues related to image and representation.
